About

Hi, I'm Mariano — a design-obsessed, endlessly curious, multifaceted software engineer. I care about the seam where design meets engineering: typography, interaction, animation, and the small details that make software feel considered rather than assembled.
I started coding at 12 — my first language was Visual Basic 6 — and fell into web development at 16, after a bout of mononucleosis kept me out of school for almost a whole semester. I've been building ever since, which is a long way of saying I'm a relentless tinkerer who's happiest deconstructing a system to understand how it really works.
What I do
I design and build web products end to end, and I move comfortably across the whole spectrum: from creative, animation-forward experiences that demand real design taste, to complex enterprise and healthcare systems where the work becomes data flows, performance, compliance, and security. Some seasons I'm sweating a hover state; others I'm architecting how millions of records get processed. I like both.
If you want the specifics — stack, services, the projects I've shipped — the Consulting and Tools pages go deeper.
Off the keyboard
I've trained Jiu-Jitsu since 2022 and competed plenty — won a fair amount, lost a fair amount, which is rather the point: it's the best teacher of ego I've found. I'm a blue belt inching toward purple (currently on hold while an ACL heals). And the biggest project of all is on the way — I'm becoming a dad to a baby girl in November 2026.

There are a few things I keep off the page. If you're the curious type, pull the red pill in the corner and ask the Architect.
